My New Endeavor

I have been extremely reluctant to do this but everyone keeps telling me that I should so here it goes! I am going to start selling baby stuff! I make shoes, bracelets, bows, blankets, burp cloths, tutus, binky clips, taggies, towels, and wipe cases. Everything will be on a personal order basis because I don't want to spend the money on inventory. I can make everything to match just about anything so if you want something or know of others who would want something just leave me a comment or you can email me at mjcall@q.com! If things go well then I will make a separate blog with a lot more pictures. But here are a few examples. I am sorry that mostly everything is girlish but that's what I 've got! The blankets, burp cloths, binky clips, taggies, towels, and wipe cases can all be made for boys also! Binky clip and towel pictures will be posted later.

Shoes

The shoes can be made ballet style or to just tie on top. These are ballet style. The sizes are like clothing and go up to 12 months. They are made out of wool felt and have a soft bottom. These are pair that I made for my nieces blessing. These will be $ 12.

Bows

All of the bows are on clippies and can be clipped onto many headbands and hats.I can also get the headbands and hats for you also.

Halloween

These were all made to match specific outfits(or outfits will be purchased to match)! Bows pricing will be based on the size of bow and how many layers there are. $5-$10 Two smaller bows will be $7. I can also make flowers they will be $3-$6 depending on size. Just tell me what color!

This is a crocheted headband and they come in white, black, brown, and pink. I can also make nylon headbands in any color that tights come in and there are also white cotton headbands. All headbands will be $3.

Bracelets

This is a baptism bracelet or a blessing bracelet if made smaller.

Bracelets will range in price from $7-$10 depending on the size and the cost of the beads. They can be made in any size from newborn to adult.

Wipe Cases

Wipe cases are $15. Keep in mind that everything can be made to match almost anything! Even diaper bags.

Burp Cloths

Sorry that these burp cloths look at little worse for wear. My baby is 9 months old and a huge spitter so they have been washed a lot! Cost for these will be $8 for 2.

Taggies

This is a taggie. Babies love to chew on them. It is made out of minky fabric. These will be$ 10.

Minky Blankets

The blankets are made out of minky also and can be made to coordinate with the taggies. They have contrasting decorative stitching and I can also add trim to them(rickrack or little fuzzy balls). These are extremely hard to make so I will be charging $30 for a receiving size blanket and $60 for a crib sized blanket. The ones shown are receiving size.

Tutus

Tutus are my newest obsession. These can be made any length and almost any color! I can add ribbon if you like but it looks much cuter on the longer ones for toddlers!

What a StInkEr!!

Here you can see what I mean by a goer. Even though this girl can't crawl she can still get into everything! These are some buckets that we keep for the kids to put there toys in to take to there rooms (no they haven't been cleaned out for awhile). While I was cleaning the kitchen I had set Carli on the carpet with some toys a safe distance from anything that she could get into to keep her happy. Within seconds this is how I found her!!

She can pull herself up on anything and then she balances without hands. I know that it won't be long until she is walking and then look out world!

So Close Yet So Far Away!

Carli i so close to crawling. I have seen her go a few paces but I don't think that she realizes that if she kept going she could go anywhere! I am OK with this because I can already tell that she is a goer (I think she might give her cousin Care Bear a run for the money!)and I am totally OK with her not crawling because only walking comes next and I know when that happens we are in big trouble! Oh yes and look at those cute ponytails! This takes a very long time but she looks so cute!

Lake Powell

We took our first trip of the year to Lake Powell. We had a few technical difficulties with the boat and had to spend the first night at the Marina. The kids thought this was great because they got ice cream and chili cheese fries. What a treat! Carli had so much fun. She loved the lake and the sand. The girls got to drive the jet ski by themselves for the first time and Courtney thought that she was being funny and tried to throw Chloe off but it backfired and they both ended up in the lake!

Draper Youth Temple Celebration!!

Our YM and YW had such an awesome opportunity a few weeks ago to get to perform for Pres. Monson!! It was such a spiritual experience for everyone involved. They performed at the conference center and some of our girls were so close to the prophet that they could reach out and touch him! I have never been in the same room as a prophet before and it was so overwhelming. When He walked into the room everyone started singing We Thank Thee Oh God For a Prophet, well the tears started flowing and didn't stop the whole 2 hours of the celebration. What a great experience that these kids will never forget. I am so thankful to be a part of their lives!

Too Funny!

OK I know that I am going to get a lot of angry comments for this but I was looking through some old pictures and I stumbled across this! Our sophomore year! We thought we were hot stuff!!! But looking back I wish that I still had that body just maybe not the hair!! What was I thinking?

Carli's Crib!

Yes I do realize that my baby is 8 months old! But she finally got her crib! We refinished our old crib and painted it pink! In the move we lost all of the hardware to put the dang thing back together. The other day I discovered a box hiding in between two jet skis and guess what I found? Yes, all of the hardware. I am so glad because I couldn't find the model number to order new part so I was afraid that we might have to just buy a new crib hence the reason that the poor girl was still sleeping in a bassinet! Well she loves her new crib and has fallen to sleep by herself in it every night and sleeps until 8:00 in the morning and takes wonderful naps now too!! YEAH!!

Happy Bday to ME!!

I had such an awesome Bday! It happened to fall on Memorial Day this year so everyone was home. We went shopping and just relaxed! Zann and Emilee came over for dinner and then Geri and her kids dropped by for cake and a movie!!

Did I mention that Matt made my cake for me!! My favorite cake is the Red Velvet or better known as the Million Dollar cake(the amount goes up every time you mention it). This is a super hard cake to make and Matt did a fabulous job!!
The best present ever! I got the new Bosch mixer! This thing is awesome!!

My New Favorite TOY!!

Okay, if you know me you know that I am not a cleaner. It's not that I am not good at it but that it is something that is done alone. I am a very social person. I need to be around people and talking! I have tried many times to start a cleaning co-op or something where 3 or 4 people get together and help each other clean their houses but no one ever seems to go for this I think that they think I am kidding but wouldn't it make cleaning funner to do it with your friends? And it is always funner to clean someone elses house! But then again I don't want my friends to see all of my dirt! Also you might not know this but when it comes to cleaning I am very OCD if I am doing it. It takes me 2 hours just to clean a bathroom because I need every little corner to be spotless. If someone else does it I am OK with it not being perfect or I am just too non confrontational to tell people what they are doing wrong, either way it is much better for someone else to do the cleaning! My mom watched me clean my kitchen floors once in our first house in Ogden (if you saw this house you know the kitchen was probably only 200 sq. ft. or smaller) and she said that she knows why I don't clean all of the time. It took me 1 1/2 hours just to do that small floor! Well I have discovered something that makes me want to do floors again!!
The Hoover Floormate!
This thing is awesome! It can clean any kind of hard floor. It has attachments for grout and corners, and can even vacuum the floor before you clean it! I can do my entire main floor of my house in 1 hour! I am still a little OCD about it (my brother did my whole house in 1 hr., all 3 levels), I go over every spot 2 times just to make sure it is clean. This can get anything off including red punch that was spilled a week ago and not reported! There are 2 models. I got the wide path and regret it a little bit because it doesn't get into those small spaces(ie: side of toilet) but because I have so much tile I thought that the wide path would make things go faster, which it does. I just looked and they have dropped the price $30 at Walmart!
If you have children or a lot of tile and hard wood I highly recommend this product!!! Well worth the $99.

HAWAII!!

Last week we went to Hawaii. It was so fabulous that we did not want to come home. I am going to do a post for each day. I think that will make it easier to see how much fun we had!!
